330 Cadets will get a chance to explore Billy Bishop Airport (CYTZ) and learn more about the history of the airport, current operations and future plans. They will get a chance to check out some of the aircraft, meet some of the airport personnel as well as get a behind the scenes-look of some of the airport operations!
Who: Open to cadets in Level 3 only. UPDATE: Due to low responses from Level 3, Ground School cadets were invited.
When: 24 Nov 18
Where: Billy Bishop Toronto City Airport
Rendezvous Point: 0915hrs at West Side of Royal York Hotel, York Street. (Marked as Porter Air Shuttle on Google Maps). We will take the shuttle bus to airport. It is important that you be on time.
Dress: C-2 with parka. Bring black gloves/mitts.
Notes: Cadets must have their health cards and are to rendezvous with 330 staff at the terminal no later than 9:15 am. The tour will be approximately 2 hour long and cadets will be dismissed following the tour. Due to the nature of this event, a waiver must be signed by a parent/guardian and sent back no later than 31 Oct. to ensure participation in this activity. Failure to do so, will result in you not joining the tour. If you have access to a scanner, you may scan the document and send it back to email@example.com.
Make sure to have a hearty breakfast and don’t forget to bring your health card. Also packing a lunch isn’t a bad idea!
